Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 August 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and PinVideo.io (“PinVideo”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or the downloader tool, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What PinVideo does
PinVideo is a free browser-based tool. You paste the URL of a publicly visible Pinterest pin, and the tool locates the underlying media file and gives you a link to save it to your device. It covers videos, images, GIFs and Idea Pins.
We do not host, store or upload the media. Files are served from Pinterest's content delivery network. No account is required and we never ask for Pinterest credentials, if any site claiming to be PinVideo asks you to log in to Pinterest, it is not us.
2. Who may use the service
You must be at least 13 years old to use PinVideo. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Where local law sets a higher minimum age for online services, that age applies to you.
3. Your responsibilities
Stated plainly: the content you download does not belong to us, and using this tool gives you no rights in it. Copyright stays with whoever created the video, image or GIF.
You are solely responsible for what you download and what you do with it afterwards. You agree to use PinVideo only for personal, private, non-commercial purposes such as offline viewing, reference or study, and only with content that is publicly accessible on Pinterest.
You must not use PinVideo to:
- Republish, re-upload or redistribute someone else's content on any platform without their permission.
- Use downloaded content commercially, in advertising, in a product, or to monetise a channel or page.
- Present someone else's work as your own.
- Access private boards, protected accounts, or any content not publicly available.
- Break any applicable copyright or intellectual property law.
- Run automated scripts, bots, scrapers or bulk queries against the service, or otherwise place unreasonable load on it.
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
- Resell, rebrand or wrap the service inside your own product without written permission.
- Download material that is unlawful in your jurisdiction.
Whether downloading a given pin is lawful depends on the content, on how you use it, and on the law where you live. Nothing on this site is legal advice. If you are unsure, ask the creator for permission first, most are glad to be asked.
4. Pinterest's own terms
Pinterest sets its own rules for how its service may be used, and those rules apply to you independently of these terms. PinVideo is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Pinterest, Inc. “Pinterest” and the Pinterest logo are trade marks of Pinterest, Inc., referred to here only to describe what our tool is compatible with.
5. Availability
PinVideo is provided free of charge and we make no promise that it will be available without interruption. Pinterest may change its platform at any time, which can stop parts of the tool working until we adapt. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature, or the whole service, at any time and without notice.
6. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any particular pin will be downloadable.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PinVideo and anyone involved in operating it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.
We are also not liable for any claim brought against you by a copyright owner in relation to content you chose to download. That responsibility is yours under section 3.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months (which, for a free service, is zero) or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PinVideo and its operator against any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.
9. Third party links, privacy and copyright complaints
The site links to third party websites, including Pinterest and browser vendors. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. If you are a rights holder and want content blocked from our tool, the procedure is set out on our DMCA page.
10. Ending access and changes to these terms
We may block access to the service for anyone who breaches these terms, without notice. You may stop using the service at any time.
We may update these terms as the service changes or as the law requires. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the “last updated” date at the top will change. Continuing to use PinVideo after a change means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect, and the unenforceable provision will be applied to the maximum extent permitted.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of PinVideo is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing in this section removes any right you may have under mandatory consumer protection law to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence.
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page.
